I know you've done this before, but now is my time to nurture and love. When I say "don't do that" please respect my wishes and follow what I say. Yeah you could just wash your hands of all of it, and stand on the side line but that would just make you miserable not me. I appreciate your help in whatever capacity you give it, but remember I have the final say so "ALWAYS". So to make it easier on all of us, give your suggestions and offer your opinions, but to don't take it personal if I disagree. I have to learn some things on my own. Just be there when I call and bask on the inside when you want to say "I told you so".

deep and I agree. People will always have opinions of what you should and should not be doing. Always listen but I'm glad you know you have to be in control of your life and make decisions for yourself!
Girrrrl - I feel you. Try and learn to be humble about it - people always want to feel like they play a major role in your life and your decisions. They want to feel important. Speak on it, but try not to let it get to you too much - take it for what it is, just opinions and advice (everybody has some).
my mom did this and phils mom and my grandmom... it's part of being in a family of women and nurturers. everyone thinks they know best, try not to take it personally too.
